VEJALLA VENKATA SUBBARAO SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL -BC COLONY ,Tenali 

 This is the official website of VEJALLA VENKATA SUBBARAO SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (VVSRSMES),BC  Colony,Tenali . It is official website launched by VEJALLA VENKATA SUBBARAO MEMORIAL EDUCATIONAL TRUST ,TENALI on january 1st 2020.

MAIN REASON BEHIND ESTABLISHING THIS SCHOOL:

In tenali town, BC colony is a slum and a backward area which is located at the east side of town.In this area,we have around 500 families which are migrated from several places like vizianagaram,bobbili,srikakulam etc and they have started living in this area for their livelihood.

The families situated there depends on daily wages ( works such as building constructions,carpentry etc).Both wife and husband go to work daily in order to earn their minimum income to survive and there is no caretaker to look after their children.Once when i visited that place due to some other work i have noticed that many children below 10 years are playing on the roads in the day time .So i quotined the children regarding their education and they answered that they are not attending any school.I didnt understand the reason at that time.Later ,when i interacted with that locality people i have come up with two reasons :

• There is no awareness regarding primary education to the parents in that area as most of them are illiterates.

• Some of the parents have awareness but there is lack of government school in that area .

Because of these 2 reasons the children located in that area are not acquiring their primary education.
As a government teacher , i have thought of contributing my self for the enhancement of the children in that locality.So i have consulted my higher municipal officials and placed a plea to that municipal council of establishing a municipal school in that area .As a part of my contribution i have placed a proposal that i will contribute for the building , infrastructure and all other basic requirements like uniform,notebooks,pens,bags,etc for coming up years also.And the municipal council has approved for my proposal and named it as VEJALLA VENKATA SUBBARAO SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (VVSRSMES).
